Ordered new house numbers a week or so ago, and they came today: this great little retro vacu-formed numbers, back lit and simple.

When we started to pack stuff up to move, I took the opportunity to divest from a bunch of dishes that had accumulated over time, mismatched and chipped, the sole survivors of a once large Ikea family, or one-offs picked up after a party, etc. There was a one-off that I really loved however, a charming, silkscreened glass sake-cup from Sake Akishiko, the so called bambi-cup. Rather than scrap that one, I ordered five more, and after drinking my way through them here and there, have a full set. They go very nicely with this set of mugs from Kinto. I dunno, lately I’ve been really falling in love with brown.
